Sebastian Hieke is enrolled in the MA program Near and Middle Eastern Studies at the Ludwigs-Maximilians-Universität, Munich. His current focuses are medieval Arabic documentary history and Judeo-Arabic literature from that time. After a visit at the St. Catherine’s Monastery in Egypt, he is particularly curious about the rich heritage of Arabic Bible manuscripts among Christians.
